CRITICAL WAXING WARNINGS
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT BEFORE YOUR SERVICE
To protect your skin and ensure your safety, waxing cannot be performed on any area where the following medications or treatments have been recently used.
These products significantly thin and sensitize the skin, which can lead to tearing, burning, scarring, or skin lifting.
⸻
1. Accutane (Isotretinoin)
⚠️ Warning: Makes skin extremely thin and fragile. Waxing will cause severe tearing and scarring.
⏳ Required Wait Time: Must wait 12 months after your last dose before waxing.
⸻
2. Prescription Retinoids
⚠️ Warning: Includes Tretinoin, Retin-A, Differin, Tazorac, or any bio-generic equivalent in any form — such as gels, creams, ointments, lotions, or similar topical preparations. These products thin the skin, increasing the risk of lifting and injury.
⏳ Required Wait Time: Must stop application at least 7 days before your appointment on the area to be waxed.
⸻
3. Recent Chemical Peels (Light, medium, or deep peels)
⚠️ Warning: Skin is highly sensitive after a peel. Waxing can cause burns or lifting.
⏳ Required Wait Time: Must wait 6 weeks after treatment.
⸻
4. Dermaplaning / Microdermabrasion
⚠️ Warning: The skin surface is freshly exfoliated and delicate.
⏳ Required Wait Time: Must wait at least 7 days before waxing.
